Do you like to walk/hike with a guide?
We provide walking/hiking/trekking guides, advice you to plan the route, and advice you to what you should bring. We may lend you daypacks etc. if you do not have one. Our partner travel agent can help you to book transport, meals and accommodation for over night tours.
Meeting points
Currently our tours are available from several railway stations such as Nagoya, Gifu, Kyoto and nearby. Please inquire. Optionally, hotel pick-up services may be available depending on the location.
Languages
English-speaking guides are regularly available. For other languages, please inquire.
Guide fees and other costs
There are 2 options. Japanese laws do not allow tour guides to book or make payment for you. So if you like to include services other than a guide, then it will be a tour package.
Guide only
If you like to have a guide with you, this is guide only option. You are required to make payment directly for transport, gear rentals, admissions, meals, accommodation, etc. for you and your guide, if necessary.
Basic guide fee is 30,000 yen (including 10% value added tax) per day (usually 8 hours) for a group up to 10 people. If your group has 11 or more people, then we may assign additional guides.

Price includes all transportation during the tour from Nagoya Station (train and bus), a guide and 10% sales tax. Meals and admissions are not included.
It is possible to hire a car from Nagoya Station instead of train/bus. It is also possible to meet our guide in Nakatsugawa Station if you have your own means of transport. Please inquire.
Also, it is possible to hire a car from Nagoya. For prices, please check “Magome and Tsumago sightseeing tours by car” below. In hiking tours, you just pass Magome and Tsumago towns. There is not enough time for sightseeing.
